tp History

tp is led by its two owners, Cédric Senn and Yann Meyer, together with a team of around 15 employees and 1or 2 apprentices. The company is headquartered in Biel, with additional locations in Delémont (since 2015) and Neuchâtel (since 2003). tp was founded in 1969 by Volker Stahl in Hannover and passed on to Max Siegenthaler in 1995. Cédric Senn and Yann Meyer joined as co-owners in 2008 and became sole owners in 2014.

We provide energy and sustainability consulting with a clear focus on economic, ecological, and social impact. To ensure that key questions — from solar energy to geothermal heating and cooling — are addressed early and aligned with energy efficiency and indoor comfort, we support our clients from the strategic planning stage through early design (SIA phases 10 + 20). We offer targeted advice on sustainability and energy performance and provide a clear view of the associated economic, environmental, and social factors. We rely on advanced simulation tools and the latest calculation software to support sound, forward-thinking decisions.

Choosing the most ecological heating method is essential in light of today’s environmental challenges. That’s why MINERGIE-compliant technology is a key focus at tp — and we actively explore other emerging solutions as well.
To stay ahead of the curve, we attend industry trade fairs, contribute to expert panels, and stay current through professional literature and continuing education. We keep our eyes on the future, think ahead, and apply new technologies as soon as they’ve proven their value in the field.
